On of the main reasons we switched locations in 2009
was so we could provide On Site Tent Camping and RV Parking.
The 2012 charge for camping / event pass is a
fee of $40 per person/for the entire weekend. This includes a three day all access pass to the event, and three days in the
campgound. Which means you can tent camp or stay in an RV Thursday night, Friday night and Saturday night and have total
access to the event for $40 per person.
Campers can begin arriving 2pm on Thursday (August 23rd) and must be out of the campgrounds
by 8pm on Sunday (August 28th).
Car or trucks can be driven into site
for drop off only, then need to be parked in the main parking lot. Golf Carts, mini bikes and other types of vehicles
are not allowed in the camping area except for Event Staff and Security Personel.
Motorcycles can be left at camping site, but are not to be riden around the camping area except for arrriving
or leaving.
People with a camping pass will be able to enter and exit
the campgrounds 24 hours a day.
The camping area is for adults 16 and
older only.
Pets are allowed in the camping area. There is a strict
policy that all pets need to be on a lease or grounded lead. All pet waste is to be immediately cleaned up by the owner
and disposed of properly. Any dogs that bark excessively or show aggressive behavior toward a person or other pets will
be asked to be removed immediately.
For pet owners that would
prefer to board thier pet at a kennel, call Red Brush Kennels (2 miles from the event) at (814) 755-4476 or check out
their website at www.houndlady.freeservers.com They are very reasonable, clean and professional.
There are restroom and shower facilities in the camping area.
RV Parking will have the ability to fill water tanks, but will not have water hook-ups or electrical hook-ups.
Sewage disposal will be available Sunday morning
at a cost of $20 per vehicle.
Fires are allowed if they are in a grill
or an off the ground, small portable steel fire pit. No ground fires are permitted.
The camping spots typically sell out prior to
the event. Pre-order them to ensure a camping spot.
Camping policies
are to ensure everyone has an enjoyable weekend.
